ENGAGEMENTS

Engagement photoshoots or pre-wedding photoshoots can happen at any point before your big day, it lasts for a couple of hours at a location of your choice. I highly recommend having an engagement shoot, you may be thinking its a waste of time or it’s not necessary, but there are so many reasons why you should consider having one. Firstly, you get to know me! We will have a giggle and you can practice being in front of the camera with your partner and it will allow you to reconnect with them in a relaxed setting. I’ll cover the arty-creative photos and the classic-emotional photos too, you’ll get to see how I shoot and work and I’ll get to see how you and your partner are on camera too, it all serves as a great warm-up to the big day. From an engagement photo shoot, I welcome feedback, perhaps there’s an angle you don’t care for, but such information helps eliminate any uncertainty on the day and this ultimately makes you feel comfortable that on your wedding day I am there understanding you. Once you see your engagement images and get excited about them, you’ll have more confidence in yourselves and in me. When the time comes to tie the knot, you’ll look forward to having your pictures taken, instead of dreading the thought of having a camera pointed at you all day!

pre-wedding photoshoot with Ed and Rupal in Greenwich , couple portraits, wedding season 2019

At the weekend, I went across to Greenwich to meet Ed and Rupal for their pre-wedding photoshoot. I’ve spoken to these guys quite a bit and so it was lovely to finally meet them finally face to face. We hung out for a few hours, took some photos, had a giggle and discussed all things wedding.

On their 3rd year of being engaged, I met Jo & Phil at Kentish Town tube on their engagement anniversary. We took a walk along a Camden Lock to Coal Drops Yard, a cool new area full of shops, restaurants and arty spaces. Wishing Jo & Phil and all my lovely couples a super Christmas and New Year, taking a break now for a while, see you in 2019!

Last Friday, I got to hang out with the lovely Kate and Az. We met at  Regents Park in the Queen Mary’s Rose Garden, the place where Az proposed to Kate three years ago so, it was only fitting we went back here for their pre-wedding shoot.

I love pre-wedding shoots and getting to know my couples and hearing all about their plans for their big day. It was super awesome hanging out with these two and I am very much looking forward to their wedding at Botley’s Mansion in July.
